Jakarta, 8 October 2025 – Losing weight isn’t just about shedding numbers on the scale it’s a journey that reshapes both mindset and lifestyle. For Febrina Elissa, that journey began nearly a decade ago when she joined the LIGHTweight Challenge (LWC) by LIGHThouse Clinic in 2016. Over 12 weeks, she lost 24.5 kilograms, and perhaps more impressively has managed to maintain her healthy weight ever since.
Her story is one of thousands that have emerged from the LIGHThouse community. Now, the clinic is bringing back its signature transformation program through the LIGHTweight Challenge 2025, continuing its mission to help Indonesians fight obesity with a method that’s not only effective and medical-based, but also fun and sustainable.
Unlike typical “quick fix” diets or competitions, LWC 2025 invites participants on a 12-week holistic transformation journey, supported by doctors, nutritionists, and psychologists. The program focuses on personalized guidance helping each participant discover a healthy rhythm that fits their body, habits, and personality.
“Through the LIGHTweight Challenge 2025, we want to once again stand beside people who are struggling with obesity,” said Anna Yesito Wibowo, Chief Marketing Officer of LIGHT Group. “With the LIGHTweight program, participants don’t just lose weight they build a new mindset and long-term healthy habits.”
Carrying the uplifting spirit of “Diet Bareng” (Diet Together), the program offers the full LIGHThouse experience: individualized diet plans, medical supervision, and the kind of peer support that makes every step feel a little lighter. Since its first launch in 2014, the challenge has drawn thousands of participants and proven that losing weight can be a joyful, community-driven experience.
The stories behind the numbers are as diverse as the participants themselves. Take Dinda, for example a 2018 participant who struggled with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal disorder that often leads to weight gain. Through LWC, Dinda learned how to balance her nutrition, manage her insulin resistance, and eventually lost 29 kilograms with the help of the LIGHTweight Diet Program.
Each participant’s plan is tailored to their unique needs, emphasizing low-calorie meals with balanced nutrition rather than extreme or restrictive diets. “There are no shortcuts here,” Anna explained. “It’s about gradual progress, medical guidance, and emotional support because real change starts from within.”
A Fresh, Fun Approach: “Ngurusin Kamu Urusan Kami”
This year’s LWC also introduces a new creative campaign, FAT BUSTERS, carrying the tagline “Ngurusin Kamu Urusan Kami”—which loosely translates to “Taking care of you is our business.” The campaign reminds participants that they’re not alone in their fight against obesity; a dedicated LIGHThouse team is there to support, guide, and cheer them on.
Adding a musical twist, ArumtaLa, the musician behind the viral hit “Gagal Diet” (Failed Diet), has reimagined the song with new, empowering lyrics. The updated version turns frustration into motivation, capturing the idea that with the right support, anyone can succeed on their weight-loss journey.
Registration for LIGHTweight Challenge 2025 opens from October 10 to November 7, 2025, for participants aged 25–45 years across Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi who are ready to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
